Let's face it, to be successful in network market you have to be a good seller of the products but ultimately be a pro when it comes network marketing recruiting!
We need to sell and recruit but us as women sometimes feel challenged by this. We often sell ourselves short and say “I can't sell” or “I can't recruit” when in fact we sell and are sold every single day! Your kids are selling you every day on what they want for lunch and even your husband “sold” to you when you got married!
But by now, you have already realized that building a strong network marketing team will help you to grow your business a lot faster than only selling your amazing products.
To be a pro at network marketing recruiting you have got to become a master communicator. This is after all a relationship business!
As women we are naturally nurturing, caring and want to help others. So why do we not use these natural skills when it comes to network marketing recruiting?
So let's take the difficulty out of network marketing recruiting and focus on the relationships with there network marketing recruiting tips:
- Look for people who are looking for you!
I heard this from one of the leading ladies in our community and it really hit home with me. You have to be EXTREMELY specific about who your target audience is online, hang out in the groups where they are and connect with those who fit your target audience. In order to attract you also need to repel and realize you cannot help everyone and be everything to everybody!
- Forget about the sale
We are so focused on making a sale or getting a new sign up that we only see the dollar sign and forget that it's a real person on the other side. So forget about the sale for a while and focus on getting to know the person on the other side, what they are passionate about, what drives them, what they do, etc. Become a REAL FRIEND! And yes, it is totally possible to become real friends with people online, I have done it countless times and I will always treasure the amazing friendships I have formed online!
- Build rapport and ask questions
Build rapport by having the party going on your wall with amazing content, videos, etc. Build rapport by asking your new friend questions about them and only focussing on them. People love talking about themselves… Once you have built enough rapport (mostly not during the first conversation…) start asking them leading questions to see if they would even be open to taking a look at what you offer.
What to ask your friend:
- What do you do for a living? (ONLY if you cannot see it clearly on their wall)
- How long have you been in the industry? (leave out the company name!!!)
- Do you enjoy what you're doing?
- Are you happy with the way things are going in your business?
- Do you feel your company provides you with enough training to help you reach your goals?
If they say no, you could say to them “Well, if you'd like I can show you what has worked for me” and ASK if you may send them a link, never ever just send a link without their permission first!
Another great tip I've picked up along the way is if you are rolling your eyes when you're asking these questions (it makes YOU feel uncomfortable), your prospect IS picking up on it too! ONLY start asking these type of questions when you feel totally comfortable with your friendship.
Things to NEVER ask your friend:
- Do you want to buy my products?
- Do you want to join my team?
Please… These two questions are possibly the two questions that chase your friends away SUPER fast!
Remember, people join people – not companies! And they join or buy from people they know, like and trust.
Forget the sale, make a friend! If you and your new friend truly connect you can start asking leading questions (remember the two to NEVER ask above…) to see if they would at all be open to what you offer. Once you've established clearly that they may be open to your network marketing opportunity, make a mere suggestion and ask if they'd want to take a look at what you do.
As simple as that!
